Noah is the 10th generation descendant of Adam and the father of Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
He is a man of God who was instructed to build an ark when the world was destroyed by a flood and was saved.
Adam and Eve, seduced by the cunning serpent, forsook the word of God and ate the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, and were expelled from the Garden of Eden. ¹ Countless descendants, such as Cain and Abel, prospered on the earth through Adam and Eve, but those who were separated from God rapidly fell away.
Although there was such a ruthless decision of God, Noah discovers the grace that was the true heart of God hidden behind the judgment.
The world was judged by merciless water bombs for 40 days, and all people and animals died.

¹ The LORD God commanded the man, saying, “You may eat of any tree of the garden at will (Genesis 2:16).
You shall not eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for in the day that you eat of it you will surely die (Genesis 2:17).
The LORD said to Noah, “Go, you and all your house, into the ark, for I have seen you righteous before me in this generation” (Genesis 7:1).
You shall take from you seven males and females of every clean animal, and two males and females of every unclean animal (Genesis 7:2).
You are to take seven of the birds of the air, male and female, and transmit their seed to all the face of the earth (Genesis 7:3).
Seven days from now, I will send rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights, and I will sweep off the face of the earth every creature I have made (Genesis 7:4).
Noah did everything the Lord commanded him (Genesis 7:5).
When the LORD saw that man’s iniquity was abundant in the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time (Genesis 6:5).
He regretted that he had made man on the earth, and his heart was grieved (Genesis 6:6).
He said, “I will wipe man whom I have created from the face of the earth; from man to cattle, creeping things, and birds of the air, for I regret that I have made them.” (Genesis 6:7)
But Noah found favor with the LORD (Genesis 6:8).
